Rural Vitalization – Rural Wastewater Treatment and Environmental Management
SIET led the Knowledge and Support Technical Assistance (KSTA) under the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Rural Vitalization Initiative, supporting the preparation of guidelines on rural sanitation, wastewater, and solid waste management (SWM) in the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
As part of this assignment, SIET developed the China Rural Wastewater Management Practice Guideline, including an online-accessible knowledge platform to support implementation and capacity building.

Huangshan Xin’an River Ecological Protection and Green Development Project
SIET’s specialist team contributed to the preparation of technical reports and knowledge publications for the Anhui Huangshan Xin’an River Ecological Protection and Green Development Project, which was implemented under the Cities Development Initiative for Asia (CDIA) with support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The project aimed to promote integrated river basin ecological protection and green development planning through a series of analytical studies, technical documentation, and knowledge outputs focusing on environmental management, sustainable infrastructure, and institutional capacity building.
